Well well, I've been at home (parents' house) for five or so days now. I was meant to study during this holiday, but man... I can't study at home! It just doesn't work... This is the worst possible place for studying!

I had a little talk with dad about my studies, probably the first one where I let him know what's up LOL! Well I only said that I might be getting Candidate's Degree next spring and then Master's degree a year later. Uh oh.

I've been doing lots of fun stuff like shoveling snow!!! You have no idea how much fun it is to shovel snow for someone who never does any physical work. And it might sound like I'm being sarcastic, but I'm not. It really is fun. Oh oh, hold on, must post snow pics:

What else. I've had problems with adware/troyans/viruses, ran Avast! virus check yesterday and had 95 stuffs found? Wtf? But even after that I still got ad pop-ups. So I ran this Combofix thing recommended by ebc, and now I don't have any problems (that program was really scary though! It made SOUNDS and shut down programs and all kinds of scary things). But anyway, I kind of feel like Avast! is useless now. Sure it'll let me know of 95 evil thingies, but it didn't seem to really fix anything. Just slows down my computer running in the background. Idk, I guess I'll let it stay for now ?__?

And I can't get stuff done for university, but that doesn't mean I don't have stuff to do online. I hadn't updated my H!P Egg picture gallery since June(!!!) so I've been working on that slowly, but surely... And I'm working on re-doing the whole H!P resource thread at JPHIP (there have been so many changes since that thread was first done by GDJ)... And I've got some poll results to count after new year. So yeah :D

I actually really love running polls, not the ones where people just click options, but... say, ones where people can post a list of their favourites 1-5 or 1-10 and then the results are counted. I'd love to run one epic one some day, for something that everyone has an opinion on like most attractive men/women or best actors or sth, but I wouldn't know how to get lots of people to take part. Unfortunately our forum doesn't have enough girls/has too many lazy people. xD The "hottest men of 2008" thread only has 7 replies, I mean, come on! Seven!!! Yeah... I love running polls but it feels pointless when not enough people take part. Maybe it's the academic side of me but poll results don't really say anything if it's just the opinion of 10 or so people. There's either too much variation or too little. ?__?
